We are looking forward to welcoming you to Dallas for this year’s Fall Workshop Series October 14-17 (welcome reception begins at 6pm on Monday, October 14). A detailed preliminary agenda for the event will be available in July, 2019.
 
We invite you to join us for:

• Networking and relaxing with fellow Briefing Professionals during the Welcome Reception on Monday night, before the valuable educational sessions over the following two days.

• Hard work and lots of fun during four in-depth half-day workshops on subjects of importance to Briefing Professionals, where attendees will come away with fantastic tools and ideas for their programs. Full workshop descriptions are available in this downloadable agenda.

• Wednesday evening’s dinner at the Dallas Arboretum, included in your registration fee, is always a great time to network and let loose after all your hard work! 

• The proverbial icing on the cake: Thursday morning's Tour Day! Our final half-day features three diverse briefing programs: AT&T Business, IBM, and NTT Data.

Core Competency Courses: The Core Competency Curriculum is intended to benefit those briefing professionals working to develop their careers in the profession. The ABPM is pleased to continue offering these courses that focus on the training and development of briefing professionals at this Fall Workshop Series. The ABPM will offer six core competency courses covering the basic competencies of the briefing profession and six Advanced Level courses. Advanced Level courses do not require completion of the core courses and can be taken at any time. Core Competency Courses offered during this Workshop Series are indicated in the session titles with a “CCC” (Core Competencies Course) or "ACC" (Advanced Competencies Course). The ABPM maintains records of completion (members can monitor their records via their online profiles), and once you’ve completed any core competency course, the ABPM will apply credit to your ABPM profile and provide you with a digital certificate of completion upon request.

Conference Location and Lodging:

Room rate: $215/night plus tax

Reservations within the ABPM room block can be made here. The ABPM block is now full. Please go to the Fairmont Dallas web site to make reservations outside the block or use a travel site to search for nearby hotels. at The $215 rate is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and based on availability until cut-off date (September 23, 2019). However, once all rooms blocked at the conference rate are booked, regular rates will be charged. Book early!
   
Conference Fee: The price for Fall Workshop Series registration is $1095 for members and $1345 for non-members (briefing professionals or Supplier Members only - vendors must be recommended Supplier Members to attend ABPM events). These prices are Early Bird rates and will increase to $1245 and $1495 respectively after Friday, August 23rd. ABPM accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Check, or Wire Transfer. 

Multiple Registrant Discount: To receive the discount code for 10% off each registration fee when four (4) or more people from the same company will attend, please email info@abpm.com.
 
New Membership/Registration Bundle Deal:  Receive the first year of membership free with non-member rate conference registration! This offer is only available to those who have never been ABPM members. Main Supplier members do not qualify for this offer, however additional employees from a current Supplier Member company are eligible.

Recommended Ground Transportation: The Fairmont Dallas is 15 minutes from Dallas Love Field Airport and 30 minutes from DFW International Airport. Uber/Lyft or Taxi is recommended. Parking at the Fairmont is $24 for day or $32 overnight (valet only). Other self parking lots are in the area.
 
Dress: All activities are business casual. Layered clothing is recommended while in hotel meeting rooms.
 
Payment and Cancellation Policy: To receive the Early Bird Rate, registration fee must be paid by Friday, August 23, 2019. You are registered at the time of email confirmation of ABPM’s receipt of your registration form. Due to commitments for catering and transportation, we regret that we are unable to issue refunds/credits or void outstanding invoices for cancellations received after Friday, September 20, 2019. However, substitutions may be made at any time. Cancellation and substitution notices must be received via email to info@abpm.com. To assure admittance, registration fees must be paid prior to Friday, October 11, 2019.
